Hibachiflame provides private hibachi chef services in Southern California. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, by phone and by text, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Booking details: your name, phone number, email, event address, date, guest count, package choice, allergies and special requests.
Rewards account: if you join Hibachiflame Rewards, your name, email, optional phone number, an encrypted password and your points history.
Payment information: deposits and balances are handled by our payment providers or in person. We do not store full card numbers on this website.
Website data: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and to improve it.

How we use it

To confirm, prepare for and deliver your event, including travel planning and allergy handling.
To run the Rewards program: adding and redeeming points and showing your balance.
To answer your questions and send booking reminders or updates you asked for.
To keep our services secure and prevent fraud.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, database and payment providers, and only as needed to provide our services, or when required by law.

Cookies

If you sign in to Rewards, we set one secure cookie to keep you signed in. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; you will just need to sign in again.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as needed for service, accounting and legal reasons. Rewards points expire 18 months after they are earned, and you can ask us to close your account at any time.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your Rewards account. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using them. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
